Alfred Raphell Clubb was born on the 9^th June 1833 and baptist on the 23^rd April 1834 in Bermondsey Surrey and was the son of Thomas Clubb and Mary Ann Dowsett
Queen Victoria becomes Queen on the 20^th June 1837 on the death of her uncle King William 4^th.
On the 1841 census Alfred was living with his parents at Lagton Grove Bermondsey
On the 1861 Census Alfred is living as a brother in law with John simmons and family, Alfred is living with Ann ( as his wife )
and 2 daughters Elizabeth Emma and Ann Amelia and was working as a Cooper
Alfred Raphell Clubb married Ann Lewis 0n the 30^th December 1861
The third child Robert Alfred was born in the March Quarter of 1862 in the Lambeth district
The fourth child Fanny Maria was born1^st March 1864 at 5 Russell Gardens Kennington Lambeth
On the 1871 census Alfred and family was living at 5 Spring Gardens and Alfred was still working as a Cooper
Alfred Dies on the 17^th March 1877 in Lambeth leaving Ann to look after the children.
